For Calvin Klein’s retail interior, DCM was tasked with fabricating and installing a unique architectural surface treatment using natural wood elements. The design called for full logs to be precisely cut into discs of varying diameters, which were then carefully finished and arranged across the walls throughout the store.
The resulting installation introduced organic texture and warmth to the minimalist space, creating a striking contrast to Calvin Klein’s clean lines and neutral palette. Each disc was positioned with intention, contributing to an overall pattern that felt both natural and curated—an understated yet powerful expression of materiality and craftsmanship.
